Tatoonie Luke Skywalker called his desert home "the planet farthest from the bright side of the galaxy." Indeed,
Tatoonie is a dreay offshoot of civilization, laiden with backwater farmers, druglords, and desert pirates. Tatoonie has
no planetary government, although it is loosely held together by the Hutt family. The most notable settlement on the planet
is Mos Eisley, a cesspool city that has become a haven for smugglers, bounty hunters, and prostitutes. The climate of Tatoonie
is that of a harsh desert. There are no notable bodies of water, making it an ideal location for moisture vaporator farms.
The primary species inhabiting Tatoonie are Humans, Jawas, and Tuskans.
Donturine Donturine is a rather non-descript planet located directly in the middle of the Jeda Quadrant. The plant is
primarily suburban, with several pockets of metropolitan society. No species are indiginous to Donturine, but many have migrated
to the cities over the last several decades. Many dummy Rebel bases have been set up along the coasts of Donturine to distract
Imperial Forces, who, from time to time, stage raids on the vacant forts. The Empire owns several large fortifications in
the rural regions of the planet, but for the most part, everyone ignores Donturine. There are several archiological digs
of interest though.
Degoba Often described as the "reject planet" Degoba is the ideal home for someone who doesn't want to be found.
With it's humid swamplands and it's uninhabitable marshlands, Degoba is a place no sane person would dare venture into.
In the western hemisphere, one will find The Lake, while in the eastern lands, dwells the old Jedi Master, Yoda, who first
taught Obi-Won Kenobi, and later Luke. It is estimated that the population of sentient beings on Degoba dwindles around 12,
though the lush environment provides an ideal habitat for reptiles and birds.
Alderaan Princess Leia stated with pride that "Alderaan is peaceful, we have no weapons." Her analysis was
correct. Alderaan, led by Queen Ewura Esi, is one of the last locals of peaceful civilizations in the Jeda Quadrant. The
climate consists of four regular seasons: Summer, winter, autum, and spring. The primary species of the planet is Human.
Alderaan is officially neutral in the current civil war, but the Emperor consistantly tightens the reigns on the planet,
for fear that Princess Leia might convince her adoptive mother to sympathize with the Rebellion.
Corillia Corillia is the metropolitan capital of crime in the Jeda Quadrant. The air is heavily polluted and most of
the establishments are rotting, but crime is always in bloom on Corillia. The planet is governed by a dictatorship under
the Emperor. The first leader following the beginning of the Rebellion was Empress Nora, but she was over-thrown by her sister
Lissie. Both Nora and Lissie took great offense at Corillians who left the planet, legally or otherwise, and often send Imperial
soldiers after Corillian refugees (ie. Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, and Lone Starr). For all its faults, Corillia is host
to a greater diversity of species than any other world.
Endor The most populated planet in the Jeda Quadrant, Endor is one of the most valuable pawns in the war. Endor's government
is headed up by a matriarchal monarchy, the current leader of which is Queen Viola Hansel. At the urging of her daughter
Mica, Viola officially began supporting the Rebellion, causing the Emperor to serious tighten his grip on Endor. Endor's
climate is noted by its sparse planes and dense forests with tropical climate. Endor also has nine heavily populated moons,
each with a unique climate. The residents of Endor include Humans, Ewoks, and Wookies, among many other species. Currently,
Rebels and Imperial soldiers are racing to gain control over the various moons through bases and strongholds.
Aldalak One of the few remaining thresholds of civilization, Aldalak is a small M-Class planet populated primarily by
Twi'leks. Similar to its sister planet Alderaan, Aldalak has a limited monarchy headed up by a matron queen and her dynasty
to follow. The current queen of Aldalak is Queen Cogema. Many of the people on Aldalak have been the targets of slavers,
especially the females who are often employed in the homes of the Hutt family on Tatoonie. Twi'leks, noted for their two
long tentacles, communicate by a combination of speaking, gesturing, and touching, often alienating outsiders. The Emperor
has had very little interest in Aldalak due to its limited resources and its proclamation of neutrality.
Yavin The fourth planet in the Yavin System, Yavin is the current metropolitan center of the Jeda Quadrant. The most
abundant species on Yavin are Humans, Wookies, and Neptuunians, though it is host to a dozen other species. Yavin's government
is a bicameral legislature, but the Emperor still holds supreme command over matters of state. Rebel strongholds have begun
appearing across the planet's northern hemisphere, but Imperial troops still hold on tightly to the southern hemisphere of
the planet.
Hoth Han Solo called Hoth, "an ice cube" and his description was quite accurate. Hoth is the coldest planet
in the Jeda Quadrant, boasting an average temperature of -65 decrees Celious and only one season per year, winter. There
are no sentient lifeforms native to Hoth, making it the ideal location for various Rebel Bases, including the imfamous Echo
Base. Hoth has one habitable moon called Helena which is noted for its unusual volcanic activity and unstable tectonic plates.
Many slavers like to send slaves down to the surface of Helena to mine tritanium, but the expected life span of a person
on the surface is only about six months, due to the constant natural disasters.
